Abortion. Its a course of action that mothers do not wish to take but are forced to do so sometimes. But should that choice really be theirs, or can the State legislate whether or not this step to circumvent responsibility is good or bad?
Daunting enough as this might be for the person undergoing the abortion, one can understand the stand that the Republicans take when it comes to cutting funding for abortions (Read more at this news link).
Yet these so-called moral choices made by a woman is really nobodys business and shouldnt be utilized as an important topic to gain votes in elections.

The study surveyed 3,681 people living in various European countries over an eight year period . At the end of that eight year period, 56% of participants with low sodium intakes were more likely to have died from cardiovascular illness than those with high salt intakes. The study published in yesterday’s Journal of the American Medical Association refutes what has become a gospel truth in the US prompting government health experts to insist Americans decrease their salt intake in the quest to reduce hypertension and cardiovascular disease risks.

Taking a breath of fresh air, the State of the Air Report for 2011 focuses on ozone and particle pollution levels measured at official monitoring sites across the United States over a cascading three year (2007, 2008 and 2009) period. Subsequently, each new report reflects the compilation of a new year of data while removing the oldest data.
Fifteen of the 25 most (air) polluted metropolitan areas in the United States reported the lowest ozone readings/scores since the inception of the report.

Spring and summer are for the great outdoors while winter is when people pretty much prefer to stay in. Yet theres something that all cultures have in common when it comes to the season of spring: they all believe that this is a time for a fresh start, a time of renewal, and yes, a time of rebirth in more ways than one.
Its a time of celebration, and while a common practice for people in India results in the splattering of Holi, American students tend to enjoy their break from February to April by going off to party to place such as Cancun, Acapulco, Barbados, Puerta Vallerta, the Bahamas and so on and so forth.
And theres a lot of underage drinking that goes on apart from these young people learning mating skills.
